I have been a supervisor for over 15 years.
I have a range of experience gained from working in a variety of settings including the NHS and blue chip companies with both groups and individuals.
In addition, I have lectured students in Counselling and Psychotherapy from undergraduates to masters level.
My integrative approach has evolved from my various trainings and originated from Existential and Psychodynamic and Person Centred theory.
The supervision style I adopt is supportive, working flexibly with each supervise according to their needs and stage of development. I do this by modelling an environment that is safe to explore practice and develop your style of working. Emphasis is on stimulating a dialogue by asking questions and encouraging self-awareness.
I am committed to working with the client at the core of the work and all the while adhering to the BACP Professional code.
